Whether you're shopping for something special or just want to wander around and soak up the festive atmosphere, these two markets are a must Christkindlmarkt SLC : As the holiday season approaches, imagine immersing yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of a vibrant European village without even leaving Salt Lake City. The Christkindlmarkt SLC, held at the historic This Is The Place Heritage Park, offers just that magical experience, and it’s not to be missed! This is one of our team’s favorites. It's the perfect event for date night, family outing, or hanging out with friends. Draper Holiday Market : Venture a little outside the city to discover this cozy gem. The Draper Holiday Market is smaller, giving it a wonderfully intimate feel. Browse unique hand-crafted gifts while enjoying local holiday treats. For the Twinkle Light Fanatics If, like us, you can’t resist the magic of sparkling Christmas lights, then you’re in luck. Salt Lake City goes all out with its holiday light displays, and here are our top picks for those twinkling moments: Christmas Lights at Temple Square : This one is an absolute classic. We love wandering through Temple Square when the entire place is covered in over 100,000 lights. It's iconic, and if you haven’t seen it yet, it’s a must. It really sets the tone for the season, and it’s just a short walk from 6th and Main! Take a stroll through the lights, and don’t forget to snap some photos. Zoo Lights : This event is a fun one for the whole family, and the light displays are absolutely whimsical. The light tunnels are a personal favorite of ours, and it’s always a blast to see the animals and enjoy the holiday atmosphere at the zoo. Luminaria at Thanksgiving Point :  If you’re looking for a truly magical experience, Luminaria at Thanksgiving Point is it. Just a short drive to Lehi, this event features over a million lights in the gardens—it's stunning.  There’s even a Fire & Ice show, where real flames shoot into the air, adding to the spectacle. It's one of those experiences that makes you stop and appreciate the season. It's worth the short drive. Aquarium Lantern Festival : This one’s a bit different but equally enchanting. The lanterns at the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium are huge and beautiful, with some standing 30 feet tall. The art and design of the lanterns is something you have to see to believe, and it’s an awesome spot for a family outing.
